Election Results the Beginning

Shortly after the founding of the Social Democrats of Dorvik the electorate headed to the polls, clearly expressing a desire for change. The 50,000 plus voters for the SSD was confirmation that people are hungry for a vision of a democratic and peaceful future.

An expression of such a vision is to be found in the new legislation proposed by the SSD which would ban the use, development, storage or purchase of biological and chemical weapons.

"Keeping such weapons encourages other nations to procure them, thus adding to the world's instability" said Dorthee Soelle who is head of the SSD. "Dorvik can lead the world in taking the dramatic step of not using or keeping such weapons."
