Social Democratic Breakthrough

Dorthee Soelle, head of the Social Democrats, heralded the recent elections in Dorvik which saw the vote for the SDD increase by 1000% and the seating of 46 new members in the House of Representatives. She said "this is the social democratic moment."

"For the millions who entrusted their vote to us, the SDD will carry their clear call for moving Dorvik to a more democratic direction, one which embraces peace, civil liberties, human rights, workers rights, and ecological sustainability." Soelle said at the SDD election rally.

Soelle later met with the new legislative delegation as they convened on legislative priorities for the new session. They also discussed strategies to oppose the rise of a fascistic right in Dorvik. "Appeals to racial or other divides must be stopped" Soelle said.
